Guests can forgive small things. They rarely forgive poor sleep. One of the simplest upgrades you can make is offering two comfort options—so most guests feel “this bed is perfect” without messaging you at midnight.
A Guest Pillow Comfort Guide is just a short way of saying: we thought about comfort. We didn’t guess. We gave you options.
Here’s the two-option system that works for most vacation rentals, boutique hotels, and resorts:
-
Soft / plush pillow option for guests who love a cloud feel
-
Supportive / medium-firm pillow option for guests who prefer more neck alignment
You don’t need six styles. Two comfort options covers most preferences and makes your property feel intentionally hotel-level.
How to stock it without making housekeeping harder:
-
Put two pillows on each bed (minimum)
-
Offer one plush and one supportive on the bed whenever possible
-
Keep one extra plush and one extra supportive per bed in the closet for quick swaps

Guest Pillow Comfort Guide: Prefer a softer or more supportive pillow? Extra comfort options are available in the closet.
Housekeeping tips that keep pillows looking “new”:
-
Use crisp white pillowcases for consistent, clean presentation
-
Add pillow protectors to help keep pillows fresher longer
